Our opportunistic investing approach, which capitalises on periods of market distress and unloved or out of favour businesses, means the Forager Australian Shares Fund could provide a unique addition to your portfolio. The minimum investment in this Fund is $20,000, or $1,000 per month in the monthly savings plan. You do not need an initial investment to start a monthly investment plan.
- Our strategy aims for long-term capital growth using a concentrated, value-focused and flexible approach whilst not being tied to any index or asset class.
- We seek to maximise returns, whilst managing risks including those that come from investing in unloved and unpopular businesses.
- The Fund invests in ASX-listed stocks (it may hold up to 10% unlisted), and can be flexible with cash allowing the team to be patient, nimble and opportunistic.
- Distributions are semi-annually, targeting a 4% yield. Special distributions may be issued when taxable income is significantly in excess of the ordinary distribution. This policy may be adjusted by the RE at their discretion.
